The title track of Chris Bray’s debut album Just Hang On sums up the life of this 23-year-old who’s seen his fair share of ups and downs. “Just Hang On is kind of like that glimpse of hope, that thread you just need to keep holding on to when everything else is falling down. It’s kind of like an inspiration,” said Bray, who lives with his wife Katie in Aylmer, 25 minutes south of London. The Canadian Christian recording artist comes from humble beginnings. Growing up in small town Hesson, Ont., an hour-and-a-half north of London, Bray grappled with a learning disability. “I always struggled in school whether it was math or reading and writing.” Bray’s scheduled 2009 release; “the Worship album”, is highly anticipated. The first single, “Finally Let Go” hits radio across Canada in March. This new release is part of a set of Worship Resources he intends to make available including an Instructional DVD, songbook and more. The Absolute Worship ministry is key to distributing this new resource through worship events at various Churches.
